Hospital Medicine - Experienced Medical Director, Coastal South Carolina at Tidelands Health

Murrells Inlet/Georgetown, South CarolinaTidelands Health, the grand strand region s largest healthcare provider, is seeking an experienced physician with a leadership background to provide oversight for our Hospital Medicine services within our two hospitals:
Waccamaw Community Hospital and Georgetown Memorial Hospital.
We require Board Certification and at least three years' experience as a Hospitalist with leadership experience or additional training such as an MBA/MHA.
Opportunity Highlights:
Assist with program budget preparation, strategy execution, marketing, provider onboarding and recruitment, and provider and staff engagement.
Develop and maintain clinic and compliance best practices.
Provide advice and leadership with respect to all associated program providers.
Represent the program at community events as well as leadership, practice, and committee meetings.
Support, evaluate and encourage program providers, clinical staff, and administrative personnel.
Manage and ensure that Tidelands hospital medicine needs are fully staffed by THG-employed physicians, locums tenens physicians, advanced practice providers and or residents 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, 365 days per year in alignment with relevant Society for Hospital Medicine benchmarking.
Facilitating for the program to optimize care management, patient experience and quality, population health and provider retention, recruitment, and engagement.
Tidelands Waccamaw Community Hospital and Tidelands Georgetown Memorial Hospital located 22 miles apart.
We are looking for experienced or new graduate internal medicine physicians.
Physicians will provide inpatient services seven-on and-seven-off, days 7AM to 7PM and/or nights 7PM to 7AM The need is both full-time nocturnists and days/nights combo with the majority being day shifts.
Our experienced hospitalist group is staffed with health system-employed physicians and advanced practitioners.
Tidelands Health has open critical care units with consulting pulmonary/critical care physician support 24/7 and a wide range of specialties on site, including cath lab services in Georgetown.
Additional support from tertiary specialists is available at Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston.
